A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to host a series of watercolor classes at a local business, a few magical nights filled with creativity and connection. I met new faces from the community, reconnected with familiar ones, and witnessed something special: people coming together, trying something new, and genuinely enjoying the process.

This side of my business has been quietly taking shape in my mind for a while now. When I finally made the pivot, I knew it was time to take the leap. One of my goals this year is to say yes when fear is the only thing standing in the way. And in this case, fear was the only thing holding me back. So I said yes. I'm so glad I did.

Introducing people to the world of watercolor brought me so much joy and honestly, I think I got more out of the experience than the guests did! Watching them explore, experiment, and enjoy themselves reminded me why I do what I do.

I've considered teaching online (and that may still happen), but nothing compares to the energy of being together in person. In a digital world, the effort it took to prepare for these events felt absolutely worth it.

Creativity and connection; two things we all need a little more of. And I’m so grateful I got to share both.
