I love simmer pots around the holidays and the one I make is super easy and you probably already have the ingredients in your home!

What you need:

1 medium orange, sliced
1 cinnamon stick
Handful of cloves
Handful of frozen or non-frozen cranberries

Toss all ingredients in a small pot and fill with water more than halfway, until everything is submerged
Turn stovetop on medium/low
Refill with water as needed, mine lasts about 4 days.

Notes:

  • I like to snip a small branch off my tree and toss that in too
  • I squeeze a bit of the orange slices in the pot before I add water
  • Make sure the stovetop is on high enough or you won't smell it
  • They make great last minute gifts or stocking stuffers!

I like to make this a few times before Christmas and then on Christmas morning while I light my favorite candles. It makes the house smell so good and cozy.
Enjoy!
